I’m Lina, a creative thinker passionate about UX/UI design.
I solve problems in creative ways.
I started my career in product design a little unconventional. I graduated from the University of Utah with a Bachelor’s degree in Web Development & Design. I discovered the world of product design when I got into software development and it has stuck ever since.
My background in software engineering gave me a unique perspective into product design. I believe in user centric design, that’s why my design process always begins and ends with the user. I'm passionate about design standards, accessibility, and contributing to design systems as well as mentoring others.

Other paintings
I’ve worked on small and large scale cross-functional engineering and design teams. I have experience collaborating with other designers in creating design components and adding them to company design systems, as well as writing the code for the components.
In my spare time I enjoy digital painting, reading, and I’m always learning something new.
I studied art history in Italy twice in college. Once as a student and then I was invited back the next year as a T.A.
I also enjoy spending time with my husband and 2 daughters who inspire me daily.
